Plans & Pricing

Minima Social is a paid service, which is the whole point: you're the customer, not the product. We have no ads, no algorithmic feed, no data mining, and no engagement-bait that is designed to keep you scrolling.

What you pay for is room (how many mutual connections you can hold) plus a few extra features for keeping in touch with the people you care about. Participation is never gated: whatever plan you're on, you can read, post, reply, join Groups and Events, and answer messages.

The plans

Inner Circle — $0

Up to 15 connections.

Friends — $2 / month, or $20 / year

Up to 50 connections.

• Filters — sort your connections into Friends, Family, Colleagues and Acquaintances, and post to just one of those audiences
• Initiating a direct message

Community — $4 / month, or $40 / year

Up to 150 connections. Everything in Friends, plus:

• Filters you define yourself
• Creating Events

Network — $6 / month, or $60 / year

Up to 500 connections. Everything in Community, plus:

• Hosting Groups

Beyond — from $6 / month, or $60 / year

Unlimited connections. Everything in Network, with the connection cap lifted: add $1 a month ($10 a year) for every additional 100 connections past 500. Someone holding 1,000 connections pays $11 a month.

Included in every plan

• A strictly chronological activity log of the people you connect with — never reordered, never algorithmically-ranked
• Posts, replies, and images, with per-post control over who sees them
• Joining and taking part in any Group or Event you're invited to
• Receiving and replying to direct messages
• A full export of all of your writing and images

How billing works

Monthly or annual. Annual billing costs ten months' worth for twelve.

Changing plan. Moving up takes effect immediately and is prorated — you pay only the difference for the rest of the cycle. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal. Connections, Groups, and Events you already have from the higher plan are yours to keep and to manage; you just can't add new ones.

Payments. Handled by Stripe. Your card details go to them, never to us.
