Why can't I sign up with a non-US phone number?

You have to put the country code at the beginning in order for the form to accept a non-US phone number.

What is the character limit for a post?

5,000 characters.

How many images can I attach to a post?

10 images.

Do my pending Connection invitations count towards my total number of Connections?

Yes - your total Connections are your active mutual Connections plus pending outgoing requests.

If I edit a post and "at-mention" someone, will they be notified?

No. Edits don't re-sync mentions or fire new notifications, only new posts do. We're trying to avoid notification spam from rapid edits.

Is there a character limit to my Bio on my Profile?

500 characters.

There's a little privacy indicator at the bottom of my posts after I've posted them - can other people see that?

Nope! That's just for your reference.

Why does the privacy indicator at the bottom of my posts only appear sometimes?

The assumption is that "Connections" is the default privacy setting. We'll only show you the indicator if you've got it set to something other than "Connections".

What are the recommendations and requirements for profile images?

Square images work best. JPEG, PNG, or WebP, up to 4 MB.

Some of our features are only available to certain plans, but I can still interact with them. How does that work?

Direct Messages, Events, and Groups are available to paid plans. Our philosophy is that if you don't have these features, you're not restricted from interacting with other users who do have them.

You can still receive a Direct Message (and you can reply!), be invited to an Event, or be invited to a Group, you just can't initiate your own Direct Messages, Events, or Groups.
